What Causes Nosebleeds?

Nosebleeds are examined in two different groups: anterior bleeding and posterior bleeding. The reason for the occurrence of both groups is different. Anterior bleeding is caused by the wall called the septum, which is located in the middle of the nose and separates the two holes of the nose. Since there are very sensitive blood vessels on this wall, it is easy to damage. Anterior bleeding is also referred to as local or localized bleeding. Posterior nosebleeds, which are less common in the community, are more common in the elderly. The source of bleeding is usually an artery located at the back of the nose. Posterior nosebleeds, which should be considered as a symptom of serious disorders, can sometimes occur not from the nose, but from the nasal passages or throat.
